So we're off for 7 months. We'll be spending 4 in Africa and 3 in Europe and leave on Christmas day.
We begin in Cape Town, South Africa where will be staying with Karl's father, Graeme, and his wife, Libby. From there we head north and east taking in Namibia, Botswana, Malawi, Tanzania, and Kenya. We'll also be dropping off some money raised by Wadestown School. As part of a study on developing nations, the year 7 & 8 kids had a market day where they sold food vaguely related to countries around the world, that the other children bought. A chaotic and sugar filled yet successful afternoon.
Through Europe we will be visiting friends and family in London, Estonia, Germany, Holland and France.
We've never done the blogging thing and may be terrible at it, but we're giving it a go! Also, we're not sure about the internet access in Africa so may well fall off the radar there.
